Mum Organising Styles - Helen Joy Butler

Back in 2013 when I was working under my biz Clutter Rescue I created five Mum Organising Styles.

The teacher in me couldn’t help it.

I had been working with Mums for quite some time by this stage (my biz started in 2008), helping them get organised in their home, and I had observed different organising styles, different organising personalities – and so the Mum Organising Styles were born!

At the time the Mum Organising Styles received a lot of interest from Mums and online magazines, and were even the basis for what would eventually become my book Paperwork Is Not Your Problem: A Busy Mum’s Guide to Moving From BUSY to Balanced.

So why bring the Mum Organising Styles back?

Because over the past month I’ve spoken with quite a number of people about them.

I’ve spoken with women who told me that they’d read about the Mum Organising Styles all those years ago and that they really helped them make sense of what was going in their own lives.

I’ve spoken with women who were interested in what I do and when I mentioned Mum Organising Styles to them they said “Tell me more!”.

I’ve even done interviews and for the first time in a long time the Mum Organising Styles came up in the conversation.

I took this a sign that I needed to share them with the world again – because there’s something going on and this information needs to be out in the world for all Mums to read. And besides, you know I’m a massive fan of following the signs!

So this is how the Mum Organising Styles work

There are five different Mum Organising Styles.

To discover your Style you need to read through each list below, decide which one resonates with you the most, and click through to learn more about that particularly Mum Organising Style.

If more than one resonates with you read both.

It’s not until you click through for more information that you will discover which Mum Organising Style you are and its name!

On your Mum Organising Style page you will also discover a PDF document to download and save so that you can refer back to your Mum Organising Styles whenever you want.

I hope you enjoy the Mum Organising Styles – feel free to share them if you do!

I’d love to know which one you are – please feel free to share it with me in the comments below.
